Guys i don't want to jynx myself as my Ely has been real good about driving to events. However i want to have a back up plan. or help.

I want to drive to the Mid West Challenge and was wondering if anyone is driving up there. My engine builder has still not completedd my motor after two yrs so she still has old faithful in here. Also any suggestions on tuning the car for the long trip.
Thanks Kyle

You might hook up with the Rat Pack .
Bill Howell , Tony, and Yancy Johns usually leave out of Pigeon Forge and hook up with Brian Finch in Nashville ..

PM one of them ...

Kyle just make sure all your fluids and tire pressures are good, tires are good etc.... Make sure your oil and filter is fresh and keep extra oil in the trunk (I like to run a 15-40 oil in my rides)....
As a matter of fact I purchased some Joe Gibbs oil from DSE at the Face Off event,,,, really good stuff...

Obviously a cell (with charger) and route planed out is common sense....

yeah I plan to do that. She hasn't given me any probs but the farthest she has gone was to RTTH last yr. but she does good on 3-4hr drives. It's just man 11-12hrs away from home in no mans land makes me nervous. I have a truck to pull it but no trailer and have never pulled the car.

Checks tires and valve stems to! Like to meet up sometime and see your car in person since your local. Brandon
