What's the best camera mounts for The windshield since I don't have a cage in my car? Also there are a couple apps that are for track time and stuff, which one is best?
For this weekend!
Thanks!

Wow, nobody?!?
I found a "Delkin's Fat Gecko camera mount" here locally and was wondering if it was worth a crap. Or if I should fab up something to go to the headrest brackets or the door pull or something.

Also, any thoughts on the iPhone app?

$22.

I use it for all my footage

For track data I use trackmaster on android with a car mount.

I haven't used one of the iPhone apps yet, but there a plenty out there, a couple for free too.

Shameless plug, but I have built one for a Windows Mobile Device if
you happen to have access to one of those. Get it here.

I should have an iPhone version out soon.

As for mounts, something like this should be good to keep a nice firm grip on all 4 corners of your iPhone.

Most apps seem to allow for a landscape view as well, so whatever you get, be sure you can rotate the device for a larger view of the times.

A lot of people seem to like the GoPro.

Thanks guys. I may be screwed on getting the cheaper ones here by Thursday before we leave tho. The Fat Geko one is like $89 here locally. For the dual suction cup one.
On the app, the reviews show one being better, but it doesn't have the g's that you are pulling and all. Are the reviews usually legit or are they disgruntled competition slamming it?
I'm pretty stoked on it all! Like a kid waiting for Christmas! Lol

Here is my countour HD with a Ram suction cup mount, stuck to the b pillar window. The auto exposure adjusted more for seeing inside my car rather than out, but you can always change the exposure level to get a better view through the windshield. It's a good camera angle for catching head, feet, and hands.

I checked out rev lite and it looks awesome, especially if you have a car with obd.
