Has anyone built their own Heim jointed rear camber rods, toe rods and "dog bones" at all?

I'm new to all of this stuff and instead of buying the pre-made parts, wanted to buy the components to assemble my own. I just don't know what size tube to use, what size joints to use and what cone spacers to use etc etc

Just looking for some help on this one.

I made camber rods and tie rods for my C4 corvette quite a while ago. If you spend the time to adjust out the bumpsteer it helps on the track (but undetectable on the street). I bought pre-made tubes from Port city or Coleman and got rod ends that fit everything properly. I used tapered monoball studs to replace the tie rod ends and allow bumpsteer spacers to be used. I also used seals over the rod ends to help them live longer. I don't remember exactly what I used since it's been quite a few years. I may have it in a notebook somewhere, but I'm not sure. You should be able to figure out what needs to be used and what lengths are right by mocking it up and making measurements.

Call Trey at Street Shop Inc in Decatur Alabama. He build lots for this stuff for his unique Corvette Frames and also narrowed C4 rearend parts.

He "may" be able to help. You never know!

Try Guldstrand Motorsports......Tricky D!ck is the primer Corvette guy, and when I was at Guldstrands we did the GS80.

We did a ton of stuff for the C4 Vette, including heimed "dog bones". They are a great car that response well to mods.
