I'm in progress of a Pro Touring build. My goal from the start was to have a good all around Pro Tour car. Not great in any one area, but completive in all, including comfort.
I'm probably a little older than most members here that are building or have already built their first Pro Tour car.
I purchased my build car back in December of 2007. Started acquiring parts to build it 2008 and by June of 2008 I was ready to start having it built. Actual build did not start until July of 2009 for 4 weeks, then stopped until mid Nov waiting on Body Shop.
I'm to old and beat up to do the work myself any more, just the thinking an planning. Hope I'm not breaking a cardinal Forum rule by not at least doing the assembly work myself and having others do the build for me. If I am, please advise.
I've waited until the car is in it final finishing stage to join and post about it because I wanted to make sure it could/would be completed.
Poor House Next is about where this project has put me. It has an still has major Project Scope Creep. If allowed to post build you may see why.
As soon as members let me know I'm not breaking rules here by not having done much of any work on my project, I'd like to show you what went into it and how at least the bodywork was done by using High Tech Redneck Engineering to at least bring the car's body into the 21st century. By the way I had no plan for that. That was someone else's vision for my car...:hand:
