Ok so I purchased a set of Spaghetti Engineering Sequential LED tail lights for my 72 Nova about a year or so ago. After I installed them (followed instructions to the T) I had issues with both LED boards blinking randomly. I called Spaghetti and was told that they had one other set do this and to just send them back so they could solder in a "voltage filter". They told me to check my alternator also to make sure it wasnt putting out any AC voltage, which I did (it was fine). Well I got my boards back and they still did the same thing. I called Spaghetti back and they said they thought maybe they just werent getting a full 12 volts and the boards needed full 12v to operate properly. Well at that point I ran a wire strait to my battery (mounted in the trunk) and that fixed the drivers side board (but killed my battery from a small draw all the time) but the pass side still does it. Im lost at this point and havent been able to drive my Nova for a while because of this issue and also had to purchase a new optima battery from the lights draining it so many times. Also I have a set of thier front marker LED boards and they work perfect, I dont get it?
Anybody else run into this? Have a remedy for it?

Did run the special flasher relay? I believe you have to since you have a front and rear system.

Check your wires for to make sure your connections are good up front. LED's take nothing to fire, you may have a reverse current issue in a bad connection somewhere causing the problem. We have seen your issue before, although rare, and was fixed with their filter

Yeah I have gone all the way through each wire, back to the source and found nothing multiple times. Even after the filters were soldered in they still did it. Im pretty well stumped on this one....

I assume that the LED boards are not touching any metal anywhere, to cause a short?....I don't know, just trying to help.

Check your grounds. Nothing works well with a poor ground.

Maybe its time to trash those signals. They are dangerous! everytime u came to a stop either the left or right would start flashing indicating a turn! It was very frustrating following u. Also both of them would flash at the same time as well. Then your battery would be dead all the time from those signals as well....Trash them if the company wont replace them for being defective or help fix this issue.

I say we test them in my 68 firebird. I have brand new wiring and if they still act stupid then its def the turn signals.
