Can someone tell me what builders are doing when installing Corvette suspension in Camaros or Novas that have a longer wheelbase? Do they get custom torque tubes made or what other options are available?

Usually they call people like us and have a full frame or subframes built. Just slapping on a Corvette suspension to a hotrod with stock geometry isn't the best idea.

So stock vette geometry isn't that great?

It's GREAT.......(for a 'vette!)

Because of the different track widths and wheelbases sometimes stock 'vette geometry doesn't work as well as it should. As long as you dial in the differences and are able to work out all the compromises that go into balancing out a suspension you should be fine.

Great thing about 'vette arms is that they're fairly lightweight so unsprung weight is kept to a minimum.

Not to mention the CG height of a Vette is much lower than most hotrods, and the spring rates used is different...all this allows for opportunity to tune the geometry to the vehicle intended.
