Sorry for asking again as I've gone through all search forumes.
I just picked up a set of front and back GTO seats for my 70 Chevelle to replace the bench.
How do the fronts mount to the floor? Which holes do you line them up with and how what is the best way of making new holes to accomodate the seats?
How would you make the power seats work?
How would you go about widening the back seats to make them fit? Would it be easier to make fill-in pieces for the sides?
What has everyone done for the seatbelts?
Thanks for all the help as I would rather going into the install with more koweledge.

i have 06 gto seats for my 69. i plan on buying universal seat mounts from opgi, Cutting the mounts off the 06 sliders, and welding the universal mount to the 06 seat slider. i would rather butcher pair of 06 sliders than cut up the floor of my 69 :)
as for the rears i have no clue, hopefully someone that has done this will chime in.....

Here's how I installed the fronts in my Monte, I made some brackets to fit the stock seat bolt locations,
and adapt to the GTO seat, without hacking the car or the seats(some trimming):

Also, I got a cigarette lighter plug to adapt to the seats while mocking up all of the rails,
also took the seat of the rails to help maneuver around.
The orange leads are (+), the black is (-), the small orange lead I believe is for the power fwd/bkwd
that works off the tilt handle area, the < > button, still (+) too. That's how I wired mine, and all works.
Got some links for the rear GTO seats, also check out the Camaro link, they install their front buckets with
some custom made brackets too:
Here are some examples of fitting rear GTO buckets into other cars:

Nice links...I would like to see how the fronts mount up on a Chevelle and what the backs looked cut as well as the centers widened?
My seats should be here by the end of the week.

I'm getting ready to mount those GTO seats in the front. I'm still not clear how I can mount the tab on those seats that loops downwards. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
