Been thinking about a side project. I know silver is very popular right now but I was looking at painting another Camaro silver with Torch Red Z/28 stripes and red interior. I have only seen this (not the stripes) on some Hot Rods and really like it. I would think the red is enough of a twist to make it stand out. Anybody else agree?

Silver and red is about like black and red...it looks awesome together! I plan on painting my chevelle black on top silver on bottom with a bright red interior!
Anyway to answer your question I think it would look killer! Although I might go with that stripe around the nose of the car in red and the rest silver then go with the red interior I think that would look better than the stripes! JMO

Look at the early renderings of Sick Fish. Silver, red and black. I'm trying to figure a way to use the combo on a 69 camaro.
Any thoughts?

Silver and red, can't go wrong. Plus I don't believe I have seen that combo very often. Are you going to do some sort of color drawing first?

One of the prettiest cars I have ever seen was a 67 Corvette roadster, 427 car, Silver car, red stinger (supposed to be one of one) and red guts. Made my tongue hard! I just love red interiors, as long as it is RED, not maroon or range. Corvette Torch red is RED!
Rumor has it a certain 65 GTO2B will have red guts.
I like the two tone idea with silver, black and red guts.

That wouldlook killer!! Just an idea,in the past if I had an idea I was unsure of, I would do a model in that style. It gives you a chance to see a pretty good idea of what it would look like, better than a picture.

I think it would look great. I made this pic from GT4 but it is a silver car with red interior. The game didnt have the options without the black stripes so sorry about those. The game also doesnt have convertible 69 Camaros.

I saw that thread. I like red on red but after a while I think I would get bored of it. If this car was a convertible I would have no bones about it. I like the combo alot, and silver is getting played out. I am hoping the red will give it the wow factor so it will stand apart from the crowd.

That camino has a RED interior hopefully that is what mine will turn out like! red carpet and red ultra leather red everything!

I LOVE RED INTERIOR

I think the combo you are talking about would look great provided the silver is bright enough!
