Bad par or not, it was nice seeing that last punch after the drama queen attempt at a penalty. I can understand the frustration that caused it.....and BANNED from UCF? pfft, just the beginnings of a ultra-super-cant-miss-rematch on Pay-Per-View a year or so from now.

I wasnt a fan of Kimbo's until he was on the tuf show. I hate cocky guys that walk around with thier "crews" all yelling and hoppin around, which is how he was desplayed prior to the show. On the show, he was one of the hardest working guys there, and one of the most humble... on the show. I actually wanted him to win. I think he gained more fans just on his work ethic. Do I think he is the best fighter?.... **** no.. I think he is a one dimensional brawler, that will never make it in a true MMA organization. But I gained some respect for him and watch him when he fights now, where before I didnt care to. And organization know this, and will snatch him up quick.

His first fight in the UFC, I thought would have ended with alexander destroying him. But that didnt happen. It was one of the worst fights I've ever seen, but Houston was scared ****less of Kimbo, and Houston is a bad dude. I still can't wrap my head around what happened to that fight. 3 rounds of circling... his next fight with Metrione, was hard to say. Metrione looks much worse than he actually is. He has alot of skills. He's a douche, and knows it. I think he plays it up on every level, his fights, his attitude.. he wants people to hate him. I think Kimbo will never be a top contender, not in the UFC. But Dana White gave Kimbo the most props I've ever seen him give anyone. He did also say if Kimbo goes on a terror outside the ufc, he would be welcome back to try again.

The only thing I don't understand is, If Kimbo is so hard working, brings in people to see him fight, won one, lost one.... why did someone like Brock win one, loose one, stay and fight for the championship so early, with basically the same crowd saying he couldn't do it because he was just a fake wrestler.?

bottom line. Kimbo is too old to make any serious changes in his game. He may be learning more everyday, but everyday is him catching up to others, that are learning more everyday as well. So, at the top level, he will never catch up. He may be good enough now to make it in lesser organizations, and Im sure someone will snatch him up. Probably the best move Kimbo ever made was to go on tuf... he gained more fans, and will be much more profitable.

As for the other fight. I can't understand the frustration that caused a sucker punch. Its MMA, if you don't have the skills to get up, its not the fault of the fighter holding you down. He had no reason to be upset. He knew where the fight would go, and he let it. the only person he should be frustrated at is himself, for not being able to get up. I hope the ban sticks. the best part was, even with a sucker punch, he didnt land it right... and got taken down by a ref....haha.. how bad is that.

.

Lesnar was a national champion NCAA wrestler, destroyed the former champion Mir before getting caught. It was pretty obvious after 2 fights Lesnar was gonna be a handful for anyone.

Kimbo cant hold water against the top guys................yet? maybe, but doubtful due to his age

lesner is a beast, the fight between metrione you can tell he was holding back on kimbo cause they are friends. I was glad goscheck beat the crap out of daly, he deserved to lose.

gotta agree with what everyone said about kimbo already but I gotta say that as much as I don't like Mitrione, because he does act like a douche, is that he showed me a hell of a lot more skills this time than I ever saw from him on TUF.

Can't help but wonder how he put in 7 yrs in the NFL and then ??? :dunno: what happened.

kimbo's skills are definitely improving. I don't think he'll ever be top level in any organization, but not because of his skillset. His knees are gone and anyone that fights him just needs to lay leg kicks on him and he's done.

Here are my thoughts

Kimbo: Good attitude & a hard worker but he will never make it as a heavyweight. Me and my buddies think he should drop down to
Light-Heavyweight and see what he can do there.

Lesner: He got another shot because of his athletic skill. He didnt
"gas-out" like Kimbo, He simply got caught in a submission.

Daley: He's a chump! Yes he's knocked a few guys out but anyone can get hit on the "button and go down i.e. Machita. That cheap shot at the end showed who the real "*****" was. Finally i think he SHOULD be banned from the UFC, Dana White banned Nick Diaz so hes should get rid of Daley.

man i like kimbo! he is like an old race horse. you can see that he wanted to be a good fighter and worked at it but i think he is 5-10 years too late. i think a younger kimbo at a lighter weight class would have been something.
daley is a clown simply put. i dont think koscek has it in him to beat GSP.
i loved the action that the WEC ppv had. they should so more of that. no drama just plain old throwdowns.

I saw the thread title, and the first thing I thought was

"Ufc isn't the chemical symbol for Ununtrium (Uut)"

Only 14 atoms have been observed in the wild (the wild being, in this case, a Nuclear Lab)

Too much science channel for me!
