I'm building a 70 Chevelle and plan on putting a 20 inch front and 22 inch rim in the rear. I'd like to know if you guys have any suspension suggestions that would support tires of those sizes?
So far i've been looking at the Ride Tech 1968-1972 GM A Body - Level 2 or 3 Suspension kits for the Chevelle.

I am not sure about the 22's but I have 20x10's all the way around on my 70 Chevelle convertible. It has the full BMR suspension setup shown HERE (http://www.bmrfabrication.com/PKG/HP011.jpg) plus a set of ATS aluminum spindles. The front tires are 285's and the rear are 315's. I had to trim the rear quarter "lips" but didn't have to do anything up front. Right now the car is lowered 2" in the front and 3" in the rear.

What size tires are you running all the way around?
285/?/20
315/?/20
Also what is the backspacing on your wheels front and rear?

Scratch that...I just reread...your front rims are 20x8.5 front on 285's and rear is 20x10 on 315's with the lip alterations.

Wheels are 20 x 10 front and rear. The front tires are 285/30R20 and rears are 315/35R20. I do not remember the backspace, sorry.

There are TONS of options for your car. It all depends on how you will use it and your budget. Give us a call for advise and pricing so we can help you narrow it down. We carry several diff. Kits of we can package up a mix of components.

My personal car is a 70 Chevelle, I basically have our Level 3 air suspension kit on it. However, i recently Iintalled our Select Series shocks on it. I really like being able to adjust the dampening from the cockpit.
I 245/40/18's (25.75" tall) on the front and 275/40/18's (26.6" tall) on the rear. 20 & 22's are doable on that car, but you just have to get the backspacing perfect. Pernonally, I never trust someones else's backspacing recommendation, always measure on your car. Different axle width's and brake combinations can change the required backspacing.
Will you be modifying the front inner fender wells?
