Hello all.
I am rebuilding a 1969 Chevy Nova. I am almost done with the tear down.
I am pulling the engine out next week and then it'll be time to go get blasted. Should I leave the subframe attached to the body and get them blasted at once? Or do them separate?
I'm getting to the point where I need to start assembling parts. Is it wise to start with the suspension and wheels/tires so that I know what to do with the body work (i.e. tubs)?
My plan for the suspension:
CPP C-arms
CPP Big Brake Kit in the front and regular disc brakes in the back
CPP drop spindles
Stainless steel brake lines
QA1 front coilovers/rear adjustable shocks
3" rear leaf drop kit
Front and Rear Sway Bars
I'm torn as far as the wheels are concerned. I would like 18x8's in the front and 18x10's in the back.
Any thoughts, comments, suggestions are appreciated. I'm very new to this and I'm learning very quickly, but I'm also doing research so that I do it right the first time.
Thanks,
Andrew
