While building a customers 68 Camaro, I came up with a nice stainless dash insert for the radio/climate control option for a late model stereo while adding some visual pop to the interior. Now I have my CNC machine setup for cutting various inserts for a lot of vehicles but since I build mostly gbodies, I thought about starting with Monte Carlos and going from there. I just get tired of looking for nice OEM cluster surrounds, dash inserts, radio/console bezels, etc. So I thought about making my own. Not sure on the prices as yet, just wanted to throw a feeler out there and see IF there is enough interest. I'd prolly cut the Stainless (my preference) out of 304 but could do it in 316L which is a bit more nicer. I could even mirror polish it but I doubt too many people would want that! LOL. Let me know what you guys think!
Btw, I've already made a few and it would require you to pull off your woodgrain trim or whatever, thoroughly clean/degrease and then these come with a 3M die-cut adhesive backing on it that would perfectly match up with your existing bezel. Once installed, just peel off the protective stainless film and you're done! I could mock them up say for a gauge surround to be with or without rear defrost, remote mirror, etc. I might even offer the service of it myself which would require you to send me yours so be installed.

oh no-i am talking about overlay type inserts that replace the ones on the stock pieces and this includes the console, radio, dash, etc. Mine are much higher quality with radiused edges, Working now on getting the openings punched out for a more factory feel.
