I am looking at installing a LT1 intake on the 283 going into my car and after having seen several I need to find a copy of article on using hose fittings and a remote mount thermostat housing. I dont really care where the instructions come from but like it because it had good pics, also I heard that the upper hoses could be pulled from the rear of the intake rather than the front.
Any thoughts on the ability to do this even?
I know many of the street rodders have done it I just misplaced my reference materials.
Got the intake cheap and intend to use it.

The toughest part will be welding/machining the part for the distributor. Used to be a guy that converts the intakes to work on standard Chevy heads/block, but looks like his website is now down (www.lt1intake.com)
