Okay here is my situation..

i did a C5/LS1 fbody disk brake conversion on my chevelle this past winter.
i went with 17x9.5 MB Old School wheels all around, but i need a set of wheels for drag racing.
i currently have summit stars (weld pro star knock offs), with MT DR's on them.

my issue is on the stars there is a chamfer about 1" behind the spoke, and about 1" up from the inside hoop of the wheel which hits the front face of the caliper.

what 15" wheels do you guys know of in an 8" width fit the 12" LS1 fbody calipers? i dont mind grinding some to clear the hoop, but i just need it to clear the front face of the caliper.

if all else fails, i will get another pair of 17's and install et streets on them.

thanks

I think the billet specialties street lites work.

I have autodrags on my 11.75" wilwoods. That may be close to the 12" ones you have. The autodrags also fit my 95 mustang. Not sure on the brake size tho.

You need 16" wheels to clear the LS1 brakes short of going with super-skinnies and spacers to push them off the brakes.

its funny how these wheels are used on f-bodies, but i think it could be because of the 10" width with 7.5" bs.

i think im just going to buy 17" wheels, and put et streets on it and be done.

tobin,
thanks for the parts. everything works great. i just need to fine tune the adjustable prop valve.

thanks guys

Try basset racing. A friend of mine has them on his blazer with a full willwood kit and they are 15" rims.
