I'm finally getting my car back together. I'm running 650lb circle track springs up front and QA1 12 way adjustables, Hellwig sway bar, spc uca, tall upper bj, solid lca bushings. In the rear its going to be Hotchkis 3 inch drop springs when they get here, by summer a Hellwig adjustable rear sway bar and maybe a watts link if i'm feeling crazy. Should i just run the QA1 rears? Are the stocker stars going to be outside of their operating range with the 3 inch drop leaf springs? I don't want to spend crazy amounts of money and i have to get it back together in about 2 weeks.

Yes, stock shocks will be out of their range

I would consider a after market cross member like DSE or make your own to gain shock travel.

I built a shock crossmember across the framerails below the trunk pan and run shorter 70? Mustang shocks to compensate. I didnt want to cut a bunch out of the trunk floor. I think the shocks are around 2 inches shorter travel.

Ok, i was going to check out the QA1 catalog and see if i couldn't find anything that would work and be anywhere from 2 to 3 inches shorter.

I'm running a QA1 front shock on the rear of my Camaro to get needed travel after moving shocks inboard using the Competition Engineering
shock crossmember.

let us know what you go with. i'd be interested to see if there are other shock options, instead of having to put in a new crossmember...

i'll see what i can find as well.
