Anyone knows if the front and rear brakes off 05-06 GTO will work on 1st gen F-body? Wht are the rotor sizes? Do they have different bolt pattern, hub bore size?

They have a metric bolt pattern. They do have a good offset to the rotors vs a the shallow Vette rotors. I want to say the '05-06 are 12.8 but not 100%-bigger than '04s. Rears use an internal E brake like the Vettes. '04 solid disc, 05.-06 vented rear disc. The calipers are basically the same as the Vette caliper but use a different bracket.

So you're saying they will work? Just fab up some mounting brackets or get kore3 ones if they make them?

i priced out 98-02 F body brakes at NAPA recently- front rotors were $30 a piece, and front calipers with brackets were around $50 each, with something like a $12 core. pads were $30 a set. everything for an '05 GTO is almost double in price.
for that price, it seems like it's almost a no brainer to just get the LS1 F body parts.

I spoke with Tobin @ Kore3, he advised not to go that route too, I would have went with big brakes, but I don't want to buy wheels just yet, because if I buy wheels to clear the big brakes, then I'll find myself tearing the whole car apart, tubbing, cutting welding, full on metalwork and paint, but I just want to drive the car till I'm ready for LSX drivetrain.

OK hub bore size is smaller 69.5mm, your car is 70.3mm, as for bolt holes should have enough size to slide right on if hub bore is opened up. As for the calipers if they are cheap enough, might be an option, but if prices is similar then by Camaro/Corvette parts.
Depends on your ability and means to get machine work done.
If budget allows these and mods and not others then go for ir unless the rear GTO parts are smaller.
As for me I am going to use S10/Blazer disc on my 2 cars so I can use 15 in wheels at dragstrip.

I really don't like small wheels and brakes, but my current 17 inch front wheels don't allow for bigger brakes, otherwise I'd be installing big brakes or C6 Z06 brakes, I could squeeze bigger ones on the rear because they are 18's,but the front would have to be C5 calipers and rotors.I'm also not planning to drag this slow car,I just want good brakes ,main reason ,because I'm used to big Brembo brakes on my daily driver Supra

Unless you can fab the brackets yourself probably only the calipers are worth using and can be used with most of the Vette swaps IF you get the Vette brackets/abutments.

I tried to PM you but it doesn't show up in my outbox... anywho the calipers are in great shape they came off of a Vette with 11,000 miles

elitecustombody,
I still have my complete set on my 2004 GTO. If you are interested LMK. You can have it all (pads, calipers, rotors/disc for all 4 corners). I'll even sell you the rims & tires :)
