I am hooking up my twin turbo setup and I have an MSD BTM and an Aeromotive boost reference regulator. I need help and was wondering if anybody has a diagrm of where all my vaccum lines go. I need to know from the wastegates to the blow off valve. This is my firt set up and I am not sure where it all goes as far as vacuum, also I need to know where it comes from to the gauge. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I don't have a diagram but I'm sure there is one on the turboforums.
My fuel regulator goes to the bonnet, the BOV goes to the port under the carb, the MSD, and gauge goes to the port on the back of the manifold. My wastegates are a internal style that don't go to anything but the diaphragm.
Hope that helps.

Wastegate lines should go to the compressor outlet or bonnet.

OK I was told the MSD and the regulator goes on the manifold, does it matter. When you say the BOV goes on the port under the carb do you mean on the carb itself or on the manifold under the carb? I also have internal wastegates and there are two ports on the wastegates, so one of the loops back to the compressor housing? and the other goes where?Where does my gauge and boost controller tie into alll this.

Also on my oil feed lines. I already have a tee on my pressure port on the back of my intake manifold where my gauge tie-ins. I can just run my oil feed lines to this right? Also on the oil pan will 1/2" drain line be sufficient or does it need to be 5/8" and what fitting did you guys weld onto the pan?

The MSD goes to manifold vacuum, the fuel pressure regulator on a blow through carb application CANNOT GO TO THE MANIFOLD. It needs to go to the carb hat.
Under the carb in the manifold, or in the baseplate of the carb is the same as long as the baseplate line is full manifold vacuum, not ported vacuum for a distributor, which gets it's signal from above the throttle blade instead of below. Boost gauge and boost controller feed come from anything under the throttle blades; intake manifold or baseplate for full manifold vacuum.
The external wastegates use the line out of the boost controller to the side port of the gate, the line on the top of the gate is rarely used and normally left open. I would assume the integral gates are the same but not positive.

you can tee off that oil pressure port behind the intake for your gauge and for the turbo oil feed. For drain lines I recommend at least #10 lines, and on my last setup had to go to #12 to work correctly and not have oil backing up in the line at idle and causing smoking. It will depend on the type of turbo's, how much restriction there is at the turbo, and how the drains line are run. In my case the turbos were fairly low so the drain lines were not as vertical as other setups, so it required a larger return id to compensate. I usually put the fitting at the top of the pan, as high as possible, and usually lined up with a main bearing cap so that it is shielded from crank windage which would fit the oil coming into the pan. Either a large nipple fitting or AN fitting depending on what type of lines you're going to use. You can also drill the hole in the pan a little smaller than needed and then use a large round punch the "roll" the metal inward to the proper diameter for tapping say 3/8" pipe threads. This gives you a little extra material for tapping. I've done this several times and it works fine and prevents having to weld the fitting on there. However, welding is even more fool proof.

I have one port on the back of my intake going to my brake booster and I have a port on the base of my carb. I know the regulator has to come off the carb hat. I know my BOV, wastgates and boost controller will all come together off of the port on the carb base. Is it fine to tee into this line and go to the MSD BTM and to the boost gauge as well or does the MSD and gauge need to come off a separate port?

I would think it would be fine. That is how mine is plumbed IIRC.

I just looked at your twin set up and its alot like mine. If I knew how to set up a PT garage I would post pictures of mine. I am looking forward to cranking mine this weekend. Do you have a wideband O2 setup on yours?

Nope, no O2 sensor on mine.
It's been so long, I don't remember how to do the PT garage! Lol
