Am am very close to getting the bottom of the camaro finished and ready for undercoating. As of now I am planning on having it lined with bedliner spray (a buddy owns a Line-X shop up town).

However I just wanted to see if anybody had any other ideas or opinions out there for undercoating that looks good and is durable.

Lizard Skin, sound deadener under coat with Ceramic heat treatment over:

Pic is actually shortly after drying, completely dries to a dark grey about a week later.

I used epoxy primer, then Raptor bed liner. It's not as thick (and heavy) as some other ones out there.

No personal use but I have seen the U-Pol Raptor line it looks like a good product. There is a post showing were someone applied it in there garage.

I had Line-X on my last truck and really liked it. I liked the satin finish of the Line-X. You need a good two or three feet of spray distance to get the final texture when spraying Line-X so just remember that when considering your setup for spraying. If you can get a good deal at your buddy's shop on that it would be an easy choice for me.

I think either will be durable.

I really like the Raptor myself. Its not as thick as line-X, But I like that about it. I just bought 2 Raptor kits for my 79. I can't wait to get started puting it on.

Line-X is only as thick as one sprays it on, I dont' think that'll be an issue.
