Can anyone tell me if a radio out of a 69 Camaro will fit in my 69 Firebird? I want a used original radio to fill the hole in my dash. I see a lot of camaro radios for sale and they say they will fit into other cars like a Chevelle/Nova but no info on Firebirds.

If you aren't looking for originality, but just want to avoid chopping your dash, look at Custom Auto Sound. I recently put one in a 66 El Camino. Fits the stock holes and provides basic AM/FM along with an aux in for my IPOD.
It looks like the Custom Auto Sound units for the 69 Camaros also fit the 69 Birds so I would assume that they are the same (not that this is only an assumption!)
