What size are the discs, # of pistons in the calipers? Are the worth looking into to upgrade over C5 brakes.

Do a serch it has been beat down a few times. If I remember the out come is you need like 22" rims or something like that. It's because of the way thar the calipers mount.

Hey at least the BMW Rims will fit properly.

As long as the rotor is centered on the hub you could drill the holes out to run a 5x4.75" pattern, or they might be oversized enough already since they run a 14mm stud on the Camaro. 120mm is 4.724".

the new camaro is not 6 lug it is 5 lug 5-120 and you can fit a 19" wheel if the off set is right

Regarding the 5th gen Camaro,
A magazine did a write up on taking the 20" rims and big brakes off,
and going with IIRC 4th gen brakes and 17" rims.

Of course I don't think you'll see much advertising of this.
Bonzohansen on Nastyz28 found it and posted it.

It was .2 sec faster in the 1/4 because it shed something like 200lbs.

Check out this link http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=29304 he has first gen CTS-V Brembos on a first gen Camaro. First gen Cts-v and 10 Camaro Brembos calipers are the same.

The housing ends for the early 8.2/8.5 10-bolts and 12-bolt c-clip passenger car housings are the same.

As for the link to Nick's build above, he appears to be running the CTS-V calipers on a 355mm C6 Z06 rotor. This is something commonly done on the LS1 F-body applications since it's a direct bolt-on deal for those knuckles, so pressumably you could bolt them up using LS1 conversion brackets or some derivative thereof. That said, the CTS-V radial pad height is 60mm [2.362"] and the C6 Z06 rotor annulus width is 52mm [2.047"], so until someone explains to me how running an 8mm pad to rotor mismatch is a good idea, we'll stay away from that type of setup. That Brembo caliper really does require a wide annulus rotor and just because it can be run on a medium annulus rotor like the C6 Z06, doesn't necessarily mean it should IMHO.

Parts i used in my project:

First gen camaro drum brake spindles and hubs. spindle upper backing plate mount must be machined same lavel as lowers.

2010 camaro rotors and calibers. Rotor center hole must be machined 2,782"

Wheel studs 1/2"

Caliber brackets are self made.
