Is there suppose to be this much oil on the intake and under the blower? I did find the gasket on the blow off valve was half way missing? Would this cause this also where is the oil coming from? Click on pic for slideshow

Where are you running your PCV setup to? The carb?

I am running it to a vacuum pump and out of the pump to a breather can. Before it was right out of carb. Just added vacuum pump!

What it could have been doing is sucking oil out of the valve cover. If there isn't much of a baffle inside the cover, it is possible to get a fair bit of oil out of the cover. I ended up putting a restrictor in my PCV hose. It seemed to help my issue. Yours seems similar, maybe someone else will chime in with either a yay or nay.

Bet that car snorts eh?

I am going to look into the baffles today, might need to add better ones.

Well the valve cover at the PCV had no baffle but at the breather there was one so I switched the valve cover around and now the baffle is under the PCV. I am running Shogun breathers so there is a check ball inside the breather. Lets see if this change helps.

Do I have to eliminate the breather on the breather can when I run a vacuum pump. Does the system have to be completely sealed?

Don't think I need the vacuum pump any longer. I Took the car in last Friday to see if they could figure out the excessive oil leaks since I have tried everything I know (which I am finding out is not as much as I thought when I comes to engines!!)Today, I got a call from the speed shop about the rings being shot. He said this is causing pressure in the crankcase, which was forcing oil out of every gasket. What a bummer I'm just trying to get the car ready for MMC and all this s**** keeps happening. Now I need to line hone and re ring the block in 1.5 weeks. Just waiting on the price. Maybe someone is trying to tell me something????:seizure::seizure::seizure::seizure:
