Thinking about buying the Baer rear disk serious street kit. Is it a good working kit? Has to be better than rear drums right? I am leaning toward this kit since it seam to be aboout the smallest rear disk setup.

Nice catch, I have done the same work to the front of my car as well with my 83 just finished up a 9'' install on the rear except the brakes of course. This will be my first year out with a 421 small block with a procharger about 15 to 18 lbs of bost and a frame notch. Just a little excited to get out!!!!!!

I don't know what the Baer kit you're looking at costs, but you might also want to consider the Ford Explorer/SVO kit with the internal parking brake. You may have to redrill the rotors for the 5x4.75 wheel pattern, but that's not too difficult. I'm fairly certain it fits inside a 15" wheel as I assume you're wanting to run drag radials, hence the desire for the smallest rear disc kit possible?

You should just go with the LS1 rear brakes, much cheaper than baer, plus you can keep you ebrake. 2 cents
