I ran by the autobody suppy shop today to do some looking what I could buy local. They had some 3M seam sealer called fit fast I believe and 3 different body panel adhesives one was a 3M,other 2 where Speed Grip and Duramix. I was wondering if anyone here could help me out on which ones to buy. Thanks Brandon

I like the 3M panel adhesive really works great, I believe it's 8115.

I've also used the 3M 8115 with good results. I also use their two part seam sealers. They have thick bodied one and a self leveling one. The gun can be expensive but they have a lower cost one at autobodytoolmart.com

We use the Kent products, there self leveling seam sealers are great and thier adhesive system works better than the 3M they have a 5 minute, 15 minute and 45 minute set.

Flex-E-6000 seam sealer, Part#
P-10491
Panel Adhesive/sealer
P-10638
We use the Flexible foam part # 8463 to replace the factory material between hood panel/ bracing Roof panel to roof braces between quarters and wheel houses etc. It works good as a anti rattle and sealer. It also does not dry hard. it stays flexible and repells water

In the body shop I worked we used Fusor for adhesive and 3M for seam sealer.
As a test we took 2 1sq foot pieces of patch panel and bonded them together with a 1" overlap then clamped them up in the frame rack and pulled them apart. Fusor was the only one that the metal ripped before the bond separated.
