Hello, I have a solid 71 barracuda that I am in a process of turning into pro touring car. I have the car torn down ready for the blaster and a reilly motorsports alterkation ,steet lynx , wilwood 4 wheel discs bought for it already. Plans are for us car tool subframe connectors, 6.1 hemi crate. Tremec 5 speed. 8 3/4 with 3.73 , custom aluminum fuel tank w/pump and baffles, hydroboost,bouchillion brackets and a/c stuff. custom gauges , shaker hood, gilled fender patches.. TTI headers ,X-pipe. 18X10s on rear 17X8s on the front. Black paint, grill and black hokeystick stripe. any ideas guys

Hey john,johnny here in northaugusta sc,coming your way next friday..i have a 1971 cuda also building..me and the family is going to the beach,for a few days..question have you ever installed the gills?and where are you getting them from?i bought a set and notice they wasnt stamped right so be careful..mine came from pg classics..good luck on your build,keep us post as you do stuff too

Welcome.

Hints? The stiffer the structure the better. Probably one of the most overlooked yet critical areas. Seriously consider adding XV Motorsports core support and inner fender braces to your list at a minimum. The compartment brace would help tremedously as well. It will feel more controlled, produce less NVH, and let the suspension do it's job rather than the body trying to do it.

Hello, yes I plan on the the inner fenderwell braces and core support brace, I might even box the leaf spring areas. This is just going to be a fun street car, I don't plan on racing it.but thanks. I the fender patches were cut out of a original car, the repro fender gill fit in there nice. thanks for the info.John

Add the Hemi torque boxes front and rear. You wont' need to race it to reap the benefits. More comfortabe ride, better handling and fewer sqeaks and rattles.

Hi everyone. Its been a while since I posted here. I had the body blasted and epoxy prime. I have my Hemi viper 6spd rear end ready.
