OK guys put an aluminum cover on the 12 bolt going in the Camaro. Has Cal tracs also. The rear end hits the sway bar if unsupported(jack stands under the frame) after about 3". So will I get that much body separation from the Cal Tracs on launch or does the car squat with them?
The factory 5/8" bar I have is about 5.5" center to center on the leg from the U bolt mount to the actual bar where it goes to the other side. The bar doesn't kick back that much in the middle near the rear end either. Figured some of you guys have rear bars with girdles and push the suspension travel to the limits.
