Hi guys! I need some suggestions on where to buy a custom cam for my 496 build. It will be a procharged motor with patriot 119cc chambers. Looking for about 1000 horse at the crank. Thanks for any help you can provide.

If you want an actual custom cam (designed lobes) than you want http://www.camshaftinnovations.com/
He ain't cheap... but you'll end up with a cam designed for your engine

Comp can make you a custom cam also..
They do a large volume.
Their price may be better..

I don't think Comp will custom design lobes. They can put something together using existing lobe masters, which any major cam company can do.

I think you meant Bullet, in which case I 2nd them. They'll do firing order swaps as well. And their pricing can be reasonable.

Well tried to go with camshaft innovations but it seems Cam master Jay has had some real health issues and just isn't able to keep up with demand. My prayers are with him.
Ended going to Comp Cams. We discussed off the shelf cams vs. a custom grind and went with a custom grind. They were very helpful and thorough. I will let you know the numbers the engine pulls when it goes to the engine dyno...
