Does anyone know what flare type or fitting is needed to mate up to the stock C5 rear rubber brake lines? I cannot figure out what I need. The C5 line has an inverted flare look to it. I tried matching it up to some "bubble flare" lines, first started out with a British style as is seen in the pic. I next tried a European style which seemed to fit better, but I still don't think this is right. Any ideas on this? I'd like to use the rubber lines, as they're in great shape. Thanks for any help.

Looks to be a ISO/bubble flare.

go to napa and get an adapter to go from iso flare to normal 3/16 double flare. or buy a tubing flare kit with both die sets in it and you can make your own lines with both metric bubble (iso) and reg double flares on same line.

Thanks for the input, guys. I did some more searching, and I do believe it is an ISO bubble flare.

You can use a stock front disc brake line and opper washers on the rears and just use the C5 Banjo bolt.
This way you can use regular 3/16" line.

I used the speedway motors' flexible SS braided hoses on mine....C5 banjo bolt, I ended up at the local GM dealer to pick these banjo bolts up....but I'm sure you can find them online somewhere.

Copper washer on each side of the banjo bolt...and you're good to go.

no problem, just be sure not to over tighten the banjo bolts, them calipers threads can strip easily...you don't want to know.... LOL

Yeah, they are fine thread so they turn real easy and you can over tighten before you know it.

C5 hoses are M10x1.0 ISO bubble flares.
C6 hoses are M10x1.0 inverted flares.
Why the change between model generations, I have no idea.
