Mini shifter update companion for the shrifter...

Nice. It's kinda hard to tell from these pix how it will work. Rick is building a mini-shifter, since he will no longer use the floor shifter for performance driving. No need to worry about hitting the wrong gear, reverse, neutral or park by accident with the floor shifter. So the floor shifter is really just just a PRND gear selector now. From there, the forward gears are controlled by the paddles when in manual mode. Your hands never leave the wheel.

Is it kind of like the little tiny shift lever that I have seen in Ferraris? Looks a little bigger, but I assume in the Ferrari it is a reverse selector-its been so long since I have seen one I can't remember.

I have to ask, what does getyopapion mean? And is there any significance to some lower case and some capitals?

Well It Will Be Out Halfway ...just Enough To Shift From Prnd As The Shrifter Takes On The Manual Shifting So No Need To Have A Big Shifter Taking Hella Space Like An Old Tv In A Closet Lol It Is Actually Small ...it Just Looks Big In The Picture But Its Made Out Of An Aluminum Rod ...3 Inch Wide X 5/8 Diameter And The Stem Will Be Sticking Out The Console Like 2 Inches At The Most Im Making Me An Aluminum Plate Now To Accomodate The Shifter In The Console

Very cool. Looks racy--and your seats are kickass. What are they from? After your first twisty road, I think you will want to put the paddles back in the 10-2 position.

thanks Steve...the seats are c4 seats but i reupholstered them to match the original design on a 69 camaro as i wanted to keep as oringinal as possible (yeah right!!!) lol ...well that i didnt think about lol ...i guess ill keep my allen wrench handy haha incase i have to switch on the go
