How much difference is there between the front window regulators for a 67 and the 68/9? I'm asking because I was reading an old post on here where a guy took the complete motor/regulator assembly from a 1996 Caprice and adapted it to his 69 Camaro. He stated how he did it and looks/sounds simple. But I was curious if I could do the same on my 67. Getting the parts from a u-pull-it yard is pretty cheap. Grab the harness and switches and you can also have auto down and the lockout features. But I don't know if the differences between the 67s and the 68/9s and such that this type of mod wouldn't work for my 67.

Any thoughts ???

I have no answer to your question but how about posting a link to the conversion?

I actually discovered that any diffferences between the 67 and 68/69 regulators doesn't matter. Because the Caprice regulator actually slides right into the bottom track/bracket of the window. So this should work on my 67 as well as 68/69 doors. I hope to try this later next month. I'll take some pics and post my results.

And they are made in Italy. Just installed a set on my 68 daily driver and they are amazing. they roll up and down faster than my 07 08 gm products.
