Big brakes for big cars?

At the shop where I work we have a 70 Buick Electra 225 convertible.
It's a 4 wheel power drum set up, the customer wants to go to 17's and 4 wheel disc brakes.
Any recomendations? any kits that you know of?

I'd contact Tobin at Kore 3.

Since the 70 Buick Electra spindle is basically the same as the b-body spindle, I'd look at an adapter bracket and use the C5/6 caliper on a 13" rotor to retain a 17" wheel. Wheel design will dictate which caliper. I think the C6 needs more clearance than the C5 but Tobin can direct you better in this decision.

For the rear I'd look at either the C5 or the LS1 rear disc. The LS1 will bolt on and, again, I think the C5 will have to be adapted.
