View Full Version : Coil over adjustable shocks for Lateral Dynamics rear suspension
I've been looking on line for a place to buy some coil overs. Recommend a brand? So far Afco seems to be a decent choice for the money. According to the LD instructions I need a 7 inch stroke with 13 inch compressed and 20 inch extended.
It looks like the DSE shocks are made by Afco. True?
Any good places to shop online?
Thanks!

Global West has a new line of affordable Penske shocks coming out that are sweet.. they have a really handy way of being double adjustable.
I think they are still a few weeks out from being on sale, but you might want to call them and check it out. Can't go wrong with Penskes.
The DSE shocks are made by AFCO to DSE's specs.. very good shocks.

I run AFCOs on two cars. I really like them for the price.

I am using Bilstein bodies and Hyperco springs on my LD 3-link. It is a second gen Camaro. That is what Mark installed on it.

If those penske's are anything like the ones I've heard about being tested on FSAE carts, they're worth waiting a little while to look into.
Good to see more input on this. Shocks are a bigger deal than most think.
Looks like I'll be waiting to see what happens with these Penske's.
These look pretty cool!
