I installed my Ricks tank with a Delco pump. I turned the pump on checking for leaks and to set the fuel pressure regulator. At 30 PSI, the pump would wake the dead. I have it at 44 PSI and it is quieter, but it is still a much, much louder than my old Mallory Comp 70 carb pump.

Are the internal Delco pumps suppose to be that loud? I thought it would be nearly silent. It seams to get quieter as the pressure goes up. Is it ok to run the system at 50 or 55 PSI? It is an EZ-EFI system.:pat:

Edit: Finally got the car running and it is barely noticeable at idle. Still not as quiet as a Mallory pump, but it is acceptable.

I've got a 99 Chevy Tahoe and it has been noisey since new and still original.

I'm thinking about puting some Second Skin Damplifier on the tank and see if that will quiet it down some.
