Hey guys,

Has anyone ever taken their car to the "Used Car Corral" at a GoodGuys event? If so, how much did it cost to park there? Was it worth it? Did your car sell due to the Corral?

Thinking of driving my car over to Pleasanton. Anyone else going?

you might get lucky, but get there REal early in the morning, thats when most of the transactions take place. also it is a hot rod show so good luck selling a pro-tour car. but you never know?

Tony, if you can hold off until Nov, do so. You will get the "P-T" type crowd at that show. This weekend is the over 50 all show-no go crowd.

I've seen 60's and 70's cars bring a large crowd at Pleasanton when it is strictly a street rod show. I think maybe people get tired of looking at red 1932 and 1934 Fords.

It's kind of like a blonde in a skirt walking past a construction site. :)

Best time to sell is Saturday morning. Most heavy hitters are there from 7am to 9:30am. Cost is $40 bucks which includes pass to show and swap meet for you and a guest...and whoever you can cram in the trunk.
No absolutly, bring you car to the pre 54 show. Most people just hear "Goodguys show this weekend" and show up.You'll be suprised how big of a crowd you'll have around your car and bet it will be the one they talk about all day.I did the same for my black and white camaro and it was the place I picked up the buyer, in the first hour! good luck i'd be out there with my parts and parts cars but im going to LA for the weekend.

Tony,
I went to the last Goodguys show on Saturday, to sell my aunts 57 t-bird and I had three buyers call me at home the next day. Sold it by 10 am Sunday morning.

I have been watching this thread since I was planning on taking my SS Nova down there to sell. I guess I had better get there at the crack of dawn tomorrow to get into the corral....

Thanks for starting this thread Tony.

I'm just about to take off to car corral now (6am). I'll have my camaro there all weekend too. Good luck on selling it if you decide to go.

Hey guys,

I was out at the Baer booth most of the day today (Saturday). No car at the Corral. It's in the garage.
