69'BIRD or 68'CHEVELLE? Which one???

I have to sell one of them. Help me make up my mind.... Which car should I keep?

1969 Pontiac Firebird TA clone. FI V8 LT1. 4L60E. Staggered 18's. 4wheel disc. Full 2 1/2" exhaust w/ thrush hush mufflers. Still needs a few things finished...its a ongoing project. Still needs computer tuned, headlight&parklamp bezels/door handles/locks replaced, brakes reworked/bled, front bucket seats recovered etc.. The body & paint is about the same as the Chevelle.

OR

1968 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 Deluxe Post. BBC V8 468. TH400. 4wheel nonpower drum brakes. Full 3" exhaust with Flowmasters. Lowered, but still has a good ride. Fresh motor, new bumpers, chrome, vinyl top, interior etc.. Needs nothing. Drive anywhere, never gets above 180 degrees. Runs low 12's in 1/4mile...but is very, very reliable. If I sell the 69' Bird, Im probably going to buy a set of Staggered 18's and put 4wheel power disc on this car too...

I wish I could keep both, but I just cant afford it and dont have the room. I have to sell one! Which car would you keep????

Firebird... the chevelle is really nice tho.

a fuel injected 69 firebird is worth more in the longrun than the chevelle..

so dont sell the top dollar one first.. unless your hurtin bad or something.. then it may be better if you need the money.

They both have their plus n minus points (don't we all though). The pix say the following to me:

Firebird - muscle car

Chevelle - hotrod

I have to agree with the above post, keep the bird and finish it.

keep the bird, you don't see as many birds as you do chevelles. Plus the bird is a lot nicer in my opinion.

Either have their pros and cons. Which one do you want? When faced with a choice like this, it is easy to go with what the crowd says. Which one do you really want in your heart? Which would you regret being without more?

I'd sell the Chevelle. You can always buy another later. Thr firebird might fetch a higher price but its a bit more practical.

I have so much time, money, and frustration in the bird that I was leaning toward the 68' Chevelle...but I am leaning toward keeping the bird now. Thanks guys. :)

Thx guys. Definitely going to keep the bird. You guys just put some needed fire/motivation underneath me to finish it. I love the car, just been such a long road getting it to where it is now and still needs more $ and time put into it. :cheers:
