First of all I would like to thank everyone on this board and everyone I have met at the various shows that have been kind enough to talk shop and give me feedback and pointers.

I can honestly say you guy have saved me a tremendous amount of time and money with my hobby in MFU avoidance. MFU - Massive F'Up.......

The changes I am making now are all derived from this board and or people in person from races and or events - thanks again!

Changing oil pan setup - canton is upgrading the pan for road racing

Getting second set of pulleys - rib this time vs the current cog setup- and dropping boost down to 5 psi to yield around 500-550 rwhp for a more controllable car on the autocross and road course. Will also run cooler and allow me to lean it out a little bit vs the 12 psi I am running now. That will be a simple pulley change a way.

Adding seat back bracing that came out of a roll bar discussion on here.

changing the rear from a detroit c locker 3.23 with 35 spline axels to a Tru trac with 31 spline axels and 3.50 gearing.

adding a tow eye to the front of the car.

Should be good to go by the Mitty!

thanks again for all the help - I am hoping that it will be setup where I can go back and forth between setups within a few hours (pulley and rear end changeout) for a great dual purpose car.

I have already updated the pads on the car - changed the pedal ratio on the brakes, added a catch can to the rear diff housing vent, changed the position on the valve cover vents to the top of the cover so it doesnt spew oil on the course and moved my trunk release.

will the madness ever stop! LOL

the new rear end works great - so much nicer on the street!

thanks to moser for getting the axles turned around in days!

Turned the hp down to 575 rwhp from 720 - its making 6 pounds of boost now - down from 10.5

Much more streetable as well.

Got the brakes dialed in as well - new pads are great - dirty wheels though :D

oil pan seems to work well with the new baffle setup - will know more today

air intake temp is 101 degrees - wow I am very happy with that - running the larger blower at a smaller rate of speed really does the trick.

will let you know how it does today.

I'm curious why you took out the C-Locker. My experience has been that they are great for road racing once you get used to them, but they are a little noisy at low speeds/tight maneuvering.

Have you ever posted pictures of your car on this site? I've read about you and the car quite a bit, but I can't say I've ever seen it... Got a link?

it was jittery in tight turns - hopped around the rear end - not stable.

great for drag racing but not for road racing or autocrossin
