I have a 68 Camaro RS, with a SBC 383. 4 Bolt main/forged bottom end / Cam: Comp Hydraulic Roller Custom Ground Cam 570/574 w/ 107.5 lobe seperation / Mahlie Forged Flat Top Pistons / scat 6" rods /H-Beams / Dart Pro 1 215 cc Platinum Aluminum Heads /
Roller Rockers: Harland Sharp 7/16 Ratio 1.5 / Pac Beehive Springs / Professional Product Hurricane (open plenum) / AED HO (Holley) 750HO , not forsure exactly what you would need to help answer the question. I believe my compression is around 10-8. I would like to run a system that could give me a extra 75 to 100 hp if possible, and what would I have to change to do it safely. I'm new to adding NOS/Turbo ect. I have PS/PB if that matters.

Thanks for any input.

Your compression is a little high but with a thicker head gasket and meth injection to be on the safe side a Procharger P1SC will see 6 - 8lbs of boost on a 300hp 383 giving you more than the 75 - 100hp you were looking for. Nitrous will get you there and cheaper. Turbo can do the same as well. The turbo will involve more fabrication than the Procharger kit.
All of the above are highly addictive once you start it's hard to be satisfied... Just warning you..LOL!!!

NOS cheater system turned down will be the ticket to hook you for good! Then you will turn it up "just a little" then "just a little more" then you will end up going with more of everything! Lol.
Just do LOTS of reading on tuning from reliable sources. Also, if it isn't running "just right", let off and figure it out. It WILL NOT fix itself.....but it will tell what will HAVE to be fixed if you don't let out! Lol
