Welcome. I have always liked the 87-88 T-coupe. I say you get a Racer Walsh 2.5L stroker and everything else from here: http://www.stinger-performance.com/

Here is their project car. Runs 10s. http://www.stinger-performance.com/bolton.html

I love the turbo coupes also and Ford's 2.3L turbo 4 makes a great foundation. stroke it, get the head ported (I think powerheads is one place that did this years ago), bigger turbo, big exhaust, etc. there's a guy running a 81 stang with a monster turbo 4 and he runs either high 8's or low 9's on hot rod drag week.

Hey! Welcome from a fellow 2.3T'er. I think it'd be awesome to build a killer 2.3 or 2.5 for your T-bird, but I know I'd sure be tempted by a twin turbo 5.0 conversion. Either way, a PT Turbocoupe is an awesome project. Keep us posted.

welcome to the forum! i've always thought that the T-Bird in those years would be interesting to see PT.
