Hi,

I'm a manufacturer agnostic car guy from AZ, been wrenching on cars since I was about 14. I've previously been pretty strictly into GM, but the last couple years I've been branching out a bit. I tend towards smaller, lighter cars. Though I do have a 73 Cutlass Supreme 455 which is pretty much the antithesis of a small light car, lol. I do autocross, but much prefer road racing(not street racing) and targa racing. I've been working on a custom chassis design for an S10 blazer for a while now, budget and time constraints have limited the progress on that to practically non-existent unfortunately. I'm almost completely self-taught, but have been looking into starting some courses in welding this summer, maybe with some chassis design classes to follow after that(hopefully).

Thanks for the welcome, I'll get some pictures up later on today.

I think a couple of them have bits of my dads 06 Z06 in them, we do miss that car.

Looks like I've only got these two pics of it on my laptop. It's a one owner, bought it from my grandmother who bought it new in 74. Transmission was swapped out in 75 because the original had a manufacturer defect and wouldn't downshift from 2nd to first automatically. Passenger door was replaced after an accident sometime in 78 or 79, paint match was pretty good, interior of door beneath panel is still blue, and the steel armrest support has been missing since it was installed. About 15 years ago the car was rear ended, while I was in it actually, by a toyota mini truck, rear bumper is bent, trunklid is dented and there's a bulge in the driver side fender, truck hit us at roughly 65 according to police at the time, we were stopped, but my grandmother who was driving goosed the gas and got us rolling off the side of the road when she saw him coming, so dammage wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been. She then sat from ~96 to the middle of last year when my grandmother got ill and had to move out of the home they bought new when they moved to AZ in 1969, and the car got sold to me. Pulled the tank, dumped the bad gas, replaced the fuel pump, primed the carb and she fired up with minimal effort.

Earlier this year after having her driving for about six moths we decided to start cleaning her up and getting her ready for a restore, currently she's just sitting as I don't have a place to work on her, with about half her interior in boxes next to or on top of her, lol.

Oh, and those are factory paint-match ralleye wheels! So much nicer looking than the steelies on these cars, had a second set that I was going to clean up and have widened, but the economy sucks.
