I must have missed something because based on the scoring system in the other thread I show that Ryan won. Even with the 3 extra points for the 100 mile drive(which I don't know who actually did it) I am just not seeing where the difference lies.

1st Ryan 30 points
2nd Kyle 24 points
3rd David 19 points
4th Brian 17 points
5th place there is a tie between Lane and Mary @ 16 points
7th Nick 11 points
8th James 9 points

Pretty sure the top 3 are considered "Vendors".

Pretty sure the top 3 are considered "Vendors".

I had thought that but when I see this.....

"Congrats to Brian Finch as the overall winner of the event, now King of the Coast!"

It made me think twice...

Maybe it's just the analytical side of me coming out but there should have been an exclusion in that statement.

:spank2: I'll step down from the soapbox now.

Thanks for posting, was wondering how my vette stacked up against the cool cars. I met a bunch of great people and hope my camaro will be done in time for the next one. You guys all have some nice cars and my dad was impressed with the amount and quality there. Thanks for letting me come play. Wife claims her car now pulls left, oh well, it was worth it!

With only one prior road course experience under my belt, i don't feel too embarrassed by my times.

I exceeded my expectations of last place

With this being my first road course experience, I can't say I'm disappointed. Now, time to fix the problems I found while out there...

Just a FYI.. LANE SMITH is really Jeff Smith of Car Craft Magazine.. he was DQ's for having 160 TW tires.. that changed the points standing and put Finch just over Pozzi.. Also, Todd Akes was on soft tires so he needs to be taken out in regards to points.

If Pozzi would have done as good at Shipka in the braking contest he would have won the whole deal.. but that's racing for ya!

Steve1968LS2
04-25-2010, 09:21 AM
Fixed the results.. Changed Lane Smith to Jeff Smith (Car Craft)

Noted cars that were on sub-200 treadwear tires

And added in my sixth place finish in the braking competition.
