I'm starting to lay out all my wiring for my ISIS system and trying to figure out the best way to wire my trunk mounted battery.

I'm thinking of wiring the battery directly to the starter
then from the starter to the alternator
then form the alternator to my front power cell and relays for my fans.

Is this correct? I don't know alot about wiring and am trying not to fry my entire system.

Are you planning on putting a cutoff switch in the back of the car, if so you are going to want to run:
*Battery to killswitch, then other side of killswitch to starter
*alternator to battery, or to battery side of killswitch post (otherwise the car wont turn off)
*Then you are going to want to power the vehicle and PCM off of the battery lead, not the alternator. What I do in this situation is add a junction block in the front of the car between the battery and the starter, just run the wires that originally went to the battery to power the car, and the wires that go to the alternator for the PCM power over to the junction block. Fuse them up of course

I don't plan on running a kill switch, so just run everything like you said minus the kill switch, correct? thank you!

As a general rule, I always like the alternator to go directly to the battery, so yes. Just make sure your using a thick enough wire, I typically use 4ga for alternator and 0ga for the battery leads
