Its kinda sad seeing your car leaving the driveway after its sold.
I sold my 67 Chevelle today. I know I've only had it 5mths or so, But its still hard to watch it go.
I think that is the worst part about this hobby. I hate selling cars. I want to keep them all.
But it does mean the start of a new adventure.

It's like selling a kid. I don't think I can ever sell it, hope to give it to my son some day.

I would cry my frickin' eyeballs out if I ever had to see my Camaro go.

I would hate to do it too. Tons of sentimental value attached to my car. But then if I sold it I would be completely out of debt. Makes it sound tempting.

I've sold my 69 twice... and regreted it twice... and bought it back twice. The first time for 1/2 of what I sold it for, the second time it was double the price I sold it for. I plan to give it to my son some day...

I dont fall in love with pieces of metal because to me a car, truck, motorcycle is just that a piece of metal. I build them drive them and the right offer comes they are gone and on to the next one. I have spent countless hours building stuff or making it better or up grading then once I sell them I think man that was a nice one or if I begin to feel sorry i reach in my pocket and feel that wad of $$$$ and all my sadness turns into happiness. What does feel funny is when I have gone to a car show and seen one of my old vehicles and you hear the owner not the person I sold it to but the next buyer talking like he built it now thats funny.

just think of it as a prototype to improve over on the next one. thats what i did on the car i sold. do i miss it? yes, but i know what i didn't like and what needed to change on the new project that i'm getting ready to start.

I feel your pain, there have been many cars over the years I still kick myself for selling. cars to me have always been like a member of the family and loosing them always tears me up.

The last few years I've sold 2 ground up custom scoots and my 68 Camaro (in 2003). Always sad to see them go. The scoots paved the way for the next project which always was new and improved rolling art. The 68, I musta taken 20 picks as that thing got towed away. Worst vehicle decision I ever made. Hopefully when my current Camaro project gets done I'll put it past me....

I feel your pain, I losted my 1970 malibu (hence my screen name) in a car crash, never got what I put in it, insurance company doesn't care.
Then I had to sale my 1956 210 4 door to have a a reliable car for school, worst idea ever because reliable = boring!
But building is half the fun of this hobby anyways right! On to bigger and better!!

The problem with selling your car to get out of debt is that you're probably selling your car to pay for bills that piled up from cheese burgers, pairs of jeans for the kids or wife, and who knows what else. Then pretty soon you have more debt again and no Camaro. The worst thing is selling your car to pay your bills so you can get by for another month or two because in a couple months you're in the same place with no car. At the time you do it, it makes sense, but then months later it turns out to be the worst option. If you're in this perdicament, there's probably some other better option for the long term. Without going into detail, I've had to deal with this turmoil recently.

Most I'm sad to see go , but some were cursed from the start and I'm glad to see them go.

I saw the 2nd 68 Camaro I have owned get towed away Tuesday night.
Wife was more upset about this one then I was and she was the one saying to sell it from the day we got married!
Something else is on the way so it does not bother me and the wife actually likes this one coming. I will always own some form of muscle car.
