Here is another project we just delivered. My guys are just knocking out one killer project after another. My personal schedule has been unbelievable. Flew to California last Weds, took the red-eye home, got off the plane and jumped in the truck and delivered this bad boy to North Carolina, picked up a 79 Trans Am in South Carolina today for the full treatment. Whew, I am wore out. But a smiling ultra happy customer like Doctor Chris here makes it all so much fun! Chris is a real hero, a Emergency Room doctor. And while I can't compare saving lives to building Hot Rods, I do think we really made his dream come true here!

This car is the perfect example of how a fairly stock car with nice paint can be easily and quickly converted into a top notch Badd Ass Pro Touring car without the time and expense of paint jail. This car was a nice body and paint car, had some TT2s, a crate GM ZZ350 and some Scat Pro Car Seats. Otherwise pretty stock.

Chris and I did some serious Project Planning and both really had the same vision. I think the theme came out incredible! I simply love the attention to detail and color coordination of the red stripe, red brake calipers and red-line tires. The weather for the trip was perfect, and just to show it off I hauled it on my open trailer (behind my black truck), People were literally running off the road with thumbs up.

Besides all the major items below, we did some sanding and buffing, some shaking out of some little issues. lots of misc little things.

Long story short, even with the hella expensive wheels and tires (Chrome lip, Diamond Cut, Red-line tires, your talking $6700 here)......even with the high dollar wheels, the total bill was just north of $40K for the entire conversion! That is paying us to do the work and the parts! And it was done WAY faster then a scratch build.

So finding a nice paint car and converting to a Pro Touring car it is a real option for guys wanting to do a Pro Touring car.

And for those that do no know, we use and install everything we sell, or you can buy from us and you install.

Those tires are interesting. Did you add the red lines or is that a feature that BFG offers?

We had the redlines done. On that car, perfect! I am working with someone to do a silver car, very similar theme.

I gotta admit that when I saw the wheels and tires in the shop a few weeks ago, I was skeptical of that redline, but they look fantastic on the car. The look is perfect, well done.

I love the car but the redlines on those wheels just don't do it for me. It needs a vintage look wheel or a black wall tire IMO (flamesuite on) :)

I really like the redlines on this car. I don't think that they would work on alot of our rides. They just look right with the red stripe:cool:

I'd love to see that car with some billet rallye's and those red line tires.

I'm really impressed with the vintage look of those Scat seats. Do you sell these seats Frank?

Still having trouble accepting the rims, but certainly not a deal breaker. The redlines are a great touch. I think it works very well, especially with the chrome trim(which too often gets eliminated) Well done.

Great looking car...the redlines are a nice match to the paint scheme, and a nod at the musclecar heritage. I'm afraid I would have used a different wheel design though...they aren't my "thing"....but thats just personal choice.

Super job on the Camaro. No doubt about it....

However, for some reason that Trans Am is REAL interesting to me... LOL
