Why in God's name is the seller posting this for so much!??
Granted, it is a good looking build, but really?

Why?
Because there is at least 1 sucker born every day, many people have more money than sense.
I personally think that anyone that would pay that much doesn't deserve it, you need to build it to truly appreciate it, I could be wrong though or biased cause I don't have the resources to go out spend the money that i could buy 2 modest homes for on a car.

Best of Show is probably one of the premier sites / locations for high quality vehicles and muscle cars. Very nice inventory catering to the global market. Truth be told - there is funny money on other shores.

oh for real?.. well i got this watch that they could sell for me.. its really rare.. its a Rolex watch.. but the rare part is that the Rolex manufacturer made a typo mistake on this watch, it says Bolex.. that makes it super rare. Also it one of the rarest watches out there that is made of aluminum.. how many Rolex watches do you know of made of Aluminum?...

There are many people that have "No Respect" for money. I spent the weekend in Barrett Jackson Palm beach and you should had seen some of the buckets there and the money they brought in. As there were some nice deals there were many not so good. I dont envy someone who has the $$$ flow to pay and enjoy. some people rather build and other rather buy.

Nice car for sure, but ads that sensationalize and gush those superlatives turn me off.

Let the photos speak for themselves without all the fluff.

???

The engine is backed by a GM 4L65 5-speed automatic transmission and stock torque converter with a Lokar shifter up top. A stout Flex-A-Lite cooler keeps the transmission from getting hot under the collar. The transmission feeds a stock driveshaft with new U-jointsThe 4L65 is a 4 speed trans, and a stock converter and driveshft in a $250k build, really?

Was this car ran up by a shill bidder to $185K? WTF, I have to add some zero's to the end of the chicken when I sell it. ;)

As mentioned before..............there is a sucker for every seat........very inpolite term, I don't like it, but used a lot..........kinda sad that some very inexperienced buyers get put into this category but that is life.......

Just last week I watched first day coverage of BJ and saw a 2002 Collectors Edition Trans Am Convertible with 18K miles sell for $34K. Huh? What? $34K??? Then they flash over to the guy who bought it....little nerdy guy.....giggling like a school girl.......he thinks he got an amazing hot rod for a deal............not the case.......he just paid too much for a Trans Am Vert with some flashy decals that has 18K miles on it that stickered for a few $K more new.

Some people do not do their due diligence and end up paying more for less. Just happens. Just don't let it be you.

As SYMS Clothing (NY based) store radio commercials go:

"An educated consumer is our best customer".

The blue car is definitely a nice looking car, and likely cost 200k+ to build. The article states it was built by Route 66 Motorsports. Still, for the price, when selling, I'd expect a beefier driveline, along with a little more attention to detail, like shaved bumper bolts and a completely coated exhaust to match the quality of everything else. The reality is, that it is really difficult to ever come close to breaking even when selling cars like this.

Also, I've seen one of the S&S cars in person. It looked amazing, but it wasn't sorted out at all, and the owner had to dump more money into it in order to make it drivable, i.e move brake lines off of bump stops, and relocate the master cylinder so the turbos wouldn't boil the brake fluid, etc. As I recall, as soon as it was fixed, it was sold again.

Also, is it just me, or is there a hint of positive camber apparent on this car :hmm:

I love how it says that you can get "low monthly payments" right under the price.

The saying (during the easy credit days was) whatever someone is willing to pay.

Today, the saying has been modified to what someone is 1) willing and 2) able to pay.

Sorry if i offend the owner but he's got some big ones to say its the finest ls2 pro-touring camaro in the world. With that high end of a build wouldn't you at least use mandrel bends on the exhaust instead of standard bends? Other things i notice but i hate to be a you know what and pick someones car apart.
