First things first, Thanks to all involved!

What a blast, this was the first time I had my car on an open track, man it was cool, I need to find some more track time somewhere!
all the guys and gals were cool and my wife acctually enjoyed it too so we are looking forward to another event.

So will there be individual results posted at some time, I would like to know times for all my events, I know I sucked at the Braking challenge as I kept over reving and it wouldnt shift into 3rd, the open track felt like I was realy fast, I could of been the slowest one there but it felt fast to me.

I spoke to Bill right before I left and he said that he would get Yancy to post the results (because if he had to do it, it wouldn't get done, lol).

The road course was too much fun, it really helped me to learn how my car behaved. I now know that it has too much rear brake bias, and has brake-induced over-steer (pretty fun, but not fast...). And more than 3-speeds and 3.08 rear gears would be nice!

And thank you to David Pozzi, he didn't have to do anything, but I used his alignment specs off of his website and they were magic!

I will get with Yancy and see if we can get those posted. His wife and kids are out with him so he will be busy doing the family thing most of the week. I will get the info and may try to get a head start...if not by next week after Del Mar for sure..Danny

Cool Danny, please post the exibition times as well. I'd like to see all my numbers as well. Appreciate the great time. :bananna2:

This was the most fun event I've been a part of ever and had a great time pounding the ever lovin' chit out of a Camaro. Congrats to Brian Finch for his overall win and he was so solid on all three competition timed portions. Winning one and placing very high in the other two sealed the deal and his car is very worthy of the top spot and the coveted invite for this years OUSCI.

Can't wait until the next "Bill Howell & Co" production and I'll be there.

Cheers,
Mary Pozzi

The event was a blast! This was the first time I have participated in a track event and will definitely attend again! Drove the GTO hard and drove it home!

You may want to tinker with the proportioning valve. That thing was nasty - you should post a picture.

Carl and I caravaned home since we live a few miles from each other. You should had heard that thing on the freeway. It sounded like an exhaust leak when he was to my left.

During the stop challenge it never pulled, squeeled, drifted, etc. Just a nice smooth stop, that is until the huge plume of blue smoke passed me by. I flat spotted it on the first run, and took 5th overall on the second!

I did not get a pic, and I'm on the road.

I think Carl mentioned it was about $320 worth of tire smoke.

It all started when Carl felt compelled to mention to the other guys on one of our "Cruise the Crest" runs that I thanked the nice CHP officer as he handed me my speeding ticket . . .

I THINK that it is only one tire, so only $200 when she's all fixed up. For a 15-second run, that's a mere $48,000/hour of fun.

Too bad Mike. I have not seen a picture of the glorious janitor suit that I wore for most of the day.

Nick, there's no rubbin' that flat spot out. I exposed almost all of the first layer of cording across the width of the tire! Never fear though, all the magazine guys were snapping away when they oggled that feat of driving prowness, so it will likely end up in print.

Carl,

You always pull off something spectacular. The most air at Buttonwillow, the most smoke at RTTC,... Can we call you Hollywood?

Carl,

You have style. Others try, and just can't pull it off. Although the Stig ranks up there as well. Maybe you guys should start a Joey Chitwood type show. I think they should assign style points at the next RTTC.

Carl, To your defense I bet your right front tire hit a little spot of lower traction when you were threshold braking and locked. You looked really strong on the road course.

You are a master of disguises...That Unibomber thing blew me away.

First -- It was really fun meeting most of you! I had a blast watching the smiles on your faces as you're beating on your cars...

When Carl smoked that tire - Greg and Greg were on duty at the Auto X -- my first reaction at seeing this atomic plume of smoke was to grab a fire extinguisher and start running toward the FIRE.... LOL
