So I call the painter to see how the 67 Camaro is doing and he tells me its done. He also said it looks like total crap. So, I think I am going to go home and drink a beer and drive up there in the morning and see how bad it is. Apparently its not a paint issue per sey, but something is wrong with the color. Like it sprayed a lot different than the test panels we did. So, its clean, but I guess the color looks like chit. Wonderful.
Its a slate gray blue by the way, with stripes that are just the base coat lightened a little. I 'll post some pics tomorrow and I guess we'll see. I AM BUMMED. Hopefully this guy is into stock colors and that is his problem. But, with my luck I'm tanked.

He could be:
1-yanking your chain,
2- he's partially color-blind, and cannot tell,
3- the paint really is FUBAR as far as what it was expected to look like.
I hope it's #1

Car is beautiful. Exactly like I wanted it. Owner comes out and says, " I really hate this color". I saw cool, it will grow on you. 3 people walking in and out the shop come over and comment about how cool it looks. We're good. Pics stuck in new bizarre droid phone.
lol glad he was yanking your chain about the quality. He may not like the color but so long as he puts it on right that's all the matters.

Sorry just a teaser, the car was wrapped up and I had little time. The other pics I took were basically just shots of the color. I will get some of the car up when its polished out. This is a full blown sun shot with all the pearls popping. Out of the sun its a very gray color and much less blue. I messed around with the computer in the mixing room until I got the effect I wanted. Its very dark and evil out of the sun lol.
