67 camaro side door glass question

I know some might laugh at this but I had the original glass and the rollers put back in a month ago and I also just put the weather stripping in last week.

I shut the door and the glass shattered. :hand:

I was just wondering if maybe I forgot like a rubber stopper somewhere or maybe the glass shattered because it's old?

I dont know. The passenger sides is fine. But the glass should just break from shutting it? I didn't slam it and I did shut it soft...

ps. anyone know where I can order 67 side door glass? most places dont have it.

Thanks for the word of caution. I will be doing this next weekend.

I wonder if the glass was to high when you shut the door. I think there is a stop adjustment for it. I'm sure you can get the glass used pretty easy.

We change a lot of glass. What piece do you need? I may have a piece you can have. It may have a tiny scratch or so but the price is right.

I also sell quite a bit of glass and can get you a new piece, about $100

I want it to be clear.. and it's the driver side door glass. not the vent window.

I was just wondering if i installed something wrong. I dont want to get another piece of glass.... shut the door and have it break again.
