Cheapest mail order steel?

I need a piece of 1.25 0.120 wall DOM 6ft long for my rear control arms. My local places are asking $60 which I feel it just too high. Ive checked on all the online places I can find and got a price of $26 and some change from onlinemetals.com before shipping. Does anyone know a place cheaper than that? Its a decent price, but I dunno if I can do better. I got a quote from a guy I have bought from before for 3 something a foot but he does not move that much to justify a big enough order to get me that price

i pay about $5 a foot locally. dom is more expensive, but $10 is a little much.

That is the place that is local to me, the Detroit Metro location. I use them if I need something rite now but the prices are crazy. Im thinking the onlinemetals.com place is looking like the best

do you have a shop that sells surplus and seconds? i get a lot of metal that is cut from a piece that had damage, so i pay for a cut and then 50 cents a pound. it works out to be really cheap that way, and theres nothing wrong with the parts i get. i built my rotisserie from it and saved close to $200.

Nah, the few places I have been to have a drops bin that I pick thru once in a while but never exactly what I need. The $26 is really not a bad price, I think Ill just order it up thru those guys. I mite have to come up with some more stuff to order tho, the shipping for a single 6ft piece is about $17 but does not go up very much if I keep adding more stuff that I would usually just pick up around here.
