One of the better pics I've seen of this icon.

That is one of the best cars that has ever been built. It is a combination of unconventional parts/colors/body style that combines to make a wonderful piece of machinery.

Back in 07' we went to the Columbus Good Guys Show and stayed at a hotel about 30 minutes from where the show was being held. Almost every hotel parking lot was its' very own car show with the amazing amount of super cool cars in the Columbus area that weekend.

Anyhow, we arrived back around 8, exhausted. About an 1/2 hour later I stepped outside to have a smoke.

What do I see but THE Chicayne right outside my hotel door flanked by two similar cars in quality and craftsmanship (I believe one was a Nomad, the other another Impala). I could not believe it. I read every article on this car and saw every video on it for years and here it was right in front of me on an awesome summer night.

There was not a soul around. The parking lot was full with hot rods. I sat down about 20 feet away and just admired every angle of this beauty. Words do not descibe how nice this car really is.

A couple years ago I was at the grand national roadster show and saw "First Love" on a roped off 20x20 podium kinda thing. First Love is absolutely incredible, words and pictures really don't do it justice.

After countless laps around the First Love display I looked behind me and realized that "Chicane" was right there, out in the open! I may be wrong, but I think it was actually on a piece of astro-turf! It was great to be able to walk right up to Chicane and put my head in the window and check out some of that Rad Rides craftsmanship firsthand!

I really like the way Rad Rides showed two different extremes of extreme cars - one was pure art and the other a true supercar.

Absolute favorite for me!! It is a timeless car too built years ago and still would top some of the most current builds.

What I love about it is that it doesn't shout LOOK AT ME!!!!! It's just a ton of subtle, cool things done to it. (well, aside from being a TT car! :lmao:)
