I was just reading a thread on an RX7 forum where the
guy was recommending cleaning aluminum wheels with
oven cleaner. What do you guys use?

I wouldn't use over cleaner on polished wheels. I got some degreaser on some polished wheels once. It stained the aluminum. I just wash them clean with car wash soap and water. Then I use Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish. Its takes a little elbow grease, but they really look nice when you are done. I haven't tried the polishing ball they have that you use in an electirc drill. That might make it move along alittle faster. Good luck!

What about nevr-dull? These are older centerlines with some oxidation.

If there is a good bit of oxidation you may want to pick up a buffing cone. Eastwood carries them or, if you have a Harbour Freight local, you can get them there.
Check out Eastwoods site they have a lot of good info and it will get you started in the right direction.
