Hey gang, we're looking for "a few good men/women" to help us with the OPTIMA Street Car Faceoff at Road America and The Midwest Musclecar Challenge at Putnam Park/Mid-American Air Center. Faceoff is May 1 & 2 and MMC is May 29 & 30.

Road America is in Elkhart Lake, WI and is one of the most storied and historical road courses in America. Putnam Park/Mid-American Air Center is located in the heart of the Midwest in the southern Illinois/Indiana area.

We need volunteers to help with all aspects of the events from tech to timing and everything in between. Why just spectate when you can get behind the velvet ropes and be a part of the integral operations of these cool events?

Should you choose to volunteer a portion of your time, we'll hook you up with everything that the participants receive, including a competitors goody bag, event t-shirts, a chance to wield power over the entrants and food/drink for the day!

Volunteers are a critical component of these events and your time and efforts make these events possible, and the event organizers and competitors know how valuable you are to the experience. If you'd like to share your time, please email me at [email protected] (no PM's please). Thanks in advance for your generosity!

I am definitely interested but it will boil down to budget. Can you give me details on nearest airport, and exact location of event so that I could price plane tickets and rent-a-car, thx

Milwaukee is the nearest airport for the Faceoff event and Indy or Louisville are closest to MMC. Thanks for your interest, we really appreciate it!

About an hour from Indy airport to Putnam.

I will be flying into Indy on May 12, and watching my engine dyno in Munci, Indiana on the 13th.

Sheesh, woulda been cool if schedule worked out, but I gotta get back and put my car together for other events.

Holy cow, you are coming all the way from California to see your engine on the dyno? No place closer to you that can build the motor? Who is doing it?

Muncie will be about 1-1.5 hrs from the airport. Take 70 East from the airport, thru Indy, when you get to 465 on the east side, take it north, & then take 69 North to State road 32 to Muncie. That's is how I would go anyway.
